Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Credit Portfolio Consultants exercise credit oversight of the WIM Consumer and Mortgage portfolios and are responsible for ensuring that loans and lines within the WIM portfolio are serviced by Home Lending Group (HLG) in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) that exists between HLG and WIM.   After an initial training period, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist manager in preparing the monthly loss forecast
  • Prepare and present monthly Recovery Forecast
  • Assist in analyzing and preparing monthly loan reports
  • Analyze and recommend loss mitigation requests
  • Analyze and recommend restricted account usage
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly loan databases and general ledger reconciliations

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of risk experience

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Consumer credit experience
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Leadership experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing at least two or three different areas within Consumer and Mortgage servicing
  • Excellent software and loan system skills including Excel, Access, MSP and ECaR
  • Accounting experience preparing reconciliations and research using irisWeb
