Job Description

Position Description:

•Draft, publish and communicate policies related to business clients in the Commercial and Private lines of business as well as business customers in other groups within the Bank documented in a published Commercial Policy and Procedure guide or system

•Participate in special projects including launching new products and evaluating system changes that impact business clients across all lines of business

•Identify processes that may be implemented or modified to improve customer service and customer experience

•Consult on banking processes, services, and products regarding operational risks and controls related to all business products and services

•Work with Commercial Product Management when new or modified banking products or services are being introduced to assist CPM and the business units with implementing the new or modified product or service.  This includes discussing processes with subject matter experts, reviewing industry standards, assisting with vendor documents, and documenting process flows; assist with risk assessment creations and work on the development/revision of policy and procedures

•Chair a quarterly Commercial Policy and Procedures committee consisting of Commercial and Private Banking business leaders and relationship managers as well as representatives from Commercial Services, Commercial Product Management, and Treasury Management Sales

•Attend the Retail Policy and Procedures committee meetings

•Manage a published Commercial Policy and Procedure document

•Work with Credit Risk to ensure risk-based products are properly underwritten and documented

This position can be in Arizona or Oklahoma
Position Requirements:

•Bachelor Degree is required or commensurate experience/knowledge

•5+ years of experience in the banking industry

•Quarterly travel to offices in all markets is expected

•Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills

•Ability to lead and oversee assignments and staff with little supervision, while adhering to deadlines

•Assertively communicate and escalate operational risks even when business units may have not requested the consulting, all while maintaining a collaborative effort to mitigate such risks

•Excellent analytical and investigative skills

•Strong oral and written communication skills

•Business software skills, including Word and Excel to prepare reports, memos, summaries, audit work-papers, and analysis

•Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with business unit management, co-workers, and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment
