Arizona Federal Credit Union is seeking a dynamic, and experienced, Sr. Windows Engineer to lead us forward. Bachelors’ degree in Information Systems or similar field or a combination of education and experience. Five years’ working experience administering and maintaining Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File Shares, MS Exchange, automation and tooling software, and similar applications. Three years’ experience with hybrid O365/Exchange environment with advanced understanding of mail flow configuration and support. Working knowledge of computer hardware and advanced experience with the Microsoft Suite of applications. Experience with SCCM Patching, Imaging & Deployment. Five years’ experience in administering windows systems environments with experience in a virtual environment.
Ability to type 25 words per minute. Ability to read, write and speak in English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, program specifications, and implementation standards. Ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone in terms end users understands. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions (root cause analysis) as well as forensic analysis in the event of a data breach. Ability to maximize software applications utilized in network security. Ability to apply concepts to determine and test reliability and validity.
Certifications in MCTS, MCP, & MCSE, GCWN. Working experience with SolarWinds, Advanced PowerShell scripting. Financial Services experience preferred.
Effectively administers and maintains our core infrastructure applications to ensure they are available, reliable, relevant, secure and scalable. Supports all segments within the Information Technology department with activities including developing and reviewing detailed design requirements, evaluating and anticipating impact of technical solutions, writing technical specifications, and preparing recommendations for management and business leadership. Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills in the identification and resolution of problems. Ability to plan, document, and execute on complex change requests including rollback and validation. Ability to follow best practices when making decisions on environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, Certs, etc.) architecture.
Ensures end users (internal customers) have continuity of services of core infrastructure applications and software including the following:
Active Directory - Account/Group/OU Creation, Access Controls, Security Hardening
Microsoft Exchange/O365 - Administration, Maintenance, Security Hardening
Microsoft Office 2016/O365 - Administration, Account provisioning, Permissions
DNS/DHCP - Administration, Maintenance
Group Policy - Administration, Maintenance, Security Hardening
File Shares (Network Drives) - Administration, Maintenance, Permissions, Security Hardening
Automation & Tooling (PowerShell) – Develop & maintain automated job processing
Patch Management (SCCM) – Administration, Maintenance, Inventory, Reporting
Imaging & Application Deployment (SCCM) – Administration, Maintenance, Inventory
Certificate Management/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) – Administer, Inventory, Maintain
Mobile Device Management (MDM) – Administration, Maintenance, Deployment
SolarWinds - Administration, Maintenance, Monitoring
Responsible for the documentation of all core infrastructure applications inclusive of schematics, network diagrams, procedures for administration, effective change management, and test scripts. Participates in IT projects to support overall IT operations including system updates and testing requirements. Strict adherence to change management processes and procedures.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to travel independently to department and branch locations.
