Front Desk Representative / Cashier

POSITION SUMMARY: Receives and processes payments from customers to the appropriate accounts.  Promptly answers incoming calls in a friendly, helpful manner and transfers calls to the appropriate department.  Properly and fully verifies customer identity before releasing any account information.  Communicates to customers the requested information and accurately documents relevant information in the account notes. 


  • Cash handling – The Cashier is responsible for the accurate handling of cash and cash equivalents. This includes receiving from the customer the correct amount of payment, processing the payment quickly and accurately, and making correct change as needed. The Cashier must be able to balance his/her cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Mail – This responsibility includes preparing customer statements and other notices on a daily basis and posting the outgoing mail in a timely manner with the correct postage amount.
  • Phone work – This position requires a professional demeanor because of the volume of phone calls and interaction with customers and vendors.
  • Filing – This responsibility consists of filing away work order requests, new loan file folders, and incoming paper titles.
  • Special Projects – This position may also include processing title, identifying and notating exceptions in the call back process, tracking and inventory of loan files, and other duties that are assigned as needed.


  • Clearly and pleasantly communicates, both verbally and in writing, with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
  • English reading and writing a must in order to sufficiently file, read, understand, and complete documents related to position.
  • Consistent, regular, and timely attendance is required. This position does not offer overtime.
  • Maintains a cooperative and courteous manner with co-workers, company contacts, customers, and vendors.
  • Mentally recalls, tracks, and accurately recounts work in progress and related tasks.
  • Works cooperatively and courteously with a diverse population of co-workers, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to stay on task in order to insure timely and accurate completion of duties.
  • Organizational skills in order to successfully receive and process incoming payments while assisting incoming phone calls.
  • Ensures information security at all times with all tasks.
  • Works in a stationary indoor environment. However, this position may require occasional bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying boxes with weights up to 25lbs.
  • Basic Excel skills are needed.

Spanish-speaker a plus.

This is a full-time, hourly position. We offer competitive pay and  a comprehensive benefit package.
